Skills
A skill is a reusable set of instructions. It does not add tools, accounts, or permission to send, post, or publish. Open Skills, pick one from the composer, or ask Indie to use it. Chat names the skill it is following.
The Official Skills tab includes 4 starter kits and 30 focused skills. Sales and business development is one category.
Starter kits
Starter kits are the four official skills marked for a first run. The other official skills stay in the library and are not starters.
- —Getting started as a founder. Review company context and choose a next step.
- —Getting started with research. Research a question and cite the sources.
- —Getting started with product. Investigate a product problem and prepare a verifiable plan.
- —Build an account brief. Research an account and prepare relevant outreach.

Your skills
- —Write a skill, or import a Markdown file under 40 KB.
- —Share by email. The recipient accepts before Indie can read the instructions.
- —Imported and shared skills are untrusted. They cannot change tool permissions or skip approval.
- —Run Skill opens the terminal with that skill selected.
Permissions
Skills follow the apps you have connected and the approval queue. Allow all tools still leaves Disabled tools off, and a send, post, or reply still waits for one teammate to approve it. Read Apps & integrations and Browser.
